About 22,000 sq.m. of land on the coast of Nha Trang will be forcibly restored

Khanh Hoa Province has tasked the Nha Trang City People's Committee to deal with businesses to close the deadline for transferring nearly 22,000 m2 of Nha Trang beach. If enterprises remain idle, the government uses coercive measures.

On July 9, a source confirmed that the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee had just issued a document instructing the Nha Trang City People's Committee to host a 21,722.2 m2 reception at the Phu Dong Park project by Invest Park Nha Co.
This is the land of the Phu Dong Park project, located on the east side of Tran Phu Road, Loc Tho District, Nha Trang City.
The Phu Dong Park project has been awarded by the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee to Invest Park Nha Trang Co., Ltd. and Khanh Viet Corporation as an investor since 2012. The project area is more than 24,600 m2, extending to the coastline of Nha Trang, in which the government has allocated almost 22,000 m2 without land use fee for the construction of green parks and public toilets. The rest, more than 2,600 m2, is given by Khanh Hoa province to enterprises in the form of lease and payment of annual land rent for the construction of above-ground facilities such as restaurants, swimming pools, etc. The lease term is until 2042.
Given the task, the investor built a restaurant and swimming pool to serve the tourists. However, according to the People's Committee of Nha Trang City, the construction of the park (almost 22,000 m2) was not completed by the investor in accordance with the approved project.
So far, after 10 years of operation, Invest Park Nha Trang Co., Ltd has not yet handed over the park site to Nha Trang City People's Committee for management.

At the end of June, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee also asked the owner of the Ana Mandara resort, located on Duong Beach, on Tran Phu Street, in Nha Trang, with a request to stop receiving guests and return the beach to its place.
According to the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, after the relocation of the Ana Mandara Restaurant and Hotel is completed, it is planned to consider maintaining part of the infrastructure to serve cultural and social events for the community.
