Phu Quoc entered the top 25 best islands in the world

Phu Quoc Island is loved by foreign visitors for its delicious food, white sand beaches and beautiful coral reefs.

«Travel+Leisure» magazine has just named the 25 most beautiful islands in the world in 2022, perfect for sightseeing. Phu Quoc is the only Vietnamese representative on the list.

Commenting on the pearl island of Vietnam, the experts rated: «Readers enthusiasm for Phu Quoc earned it a place on the list (14th). The island is loved by white sand beaches, delicious food, beautiful coral reefs and dense tropical forests».

This category is part of the annual World's Best Awards. Rankings are published based on votes, feedback from global readers and travel experts. Islands are judged on the following criteria: leisure, attractions, natural attractions, beaches, food, friendliness and overall value.

Topping the list is Ischia (Italy) with 94.56/100 points, located on the Tyrrhenian Sea, an hour's ferry ride from Naples. This popular island is attracting more visitors after it appeared in Elena Ferrante's novel My Brilliant Friend and was adapted into an HBO movie. There are picturesque villages, hot springs, pristine beaches... People are rated as "very kind and helpful". There are many villas for rent and luxurious five-star hotels.
