At 06.00 in the morning, the tourists will gather. The bus will arrive at the hotel with the guide.
The journey to the province of Phuyen takes about an hour before stopping for breakfast.
Our first stop will be the Indochinese temple - Cham Tower Nhan. It is the oldest landmark in the city of Tuy Hoa, the capital of Phuyen province. It was built in the 12th century AD.
The next stop is the Roman Catholic Church of Mang Lang, built in 1892 in Gothic style by the French missionary Father Joseph Lacassagne.
Next, you will travel to the sea where you will see the unique natural monument of Ganh Da Dia basalt columns. This is a remnant of an ancient volcano that left behind over 35,000 basalt formations in the shape of columns.
Next is Bai Mon Beach - a pristine deserted beach, a 350-meter wide strip of the purest shell-free sand surrounded by picturesque hills. To the right of the beach on a hill stands Cape Varella and an ancient lighthouse - the easternmost point of Vietnam.
The lighthouse was built by the French in 1890. It is one of the 8 lighthouses that are over 100 years old. Its light can be seen from a distance of 27 nautical miles. The lighthouse lamp is located 110 meters above sea level.
After the program ends, transfer to Nha Trang city.
Cham Tower Nhan - the oldest landmark in the city of Tuy Hoa, proudly towering atop the mountain of the same name. It was a place of worship in the Champa kingdom in the 11th - 12th centuries.
During the French colonization, the twenty-meter building was almost completely destroyed, and in the 1960s, it was restored while preserving its historical appearance. The four-story tower has a square plan. Ancient stones with images of deities and Champa patterns, from which it was built, are preserved in its lower part. Inside, there is an altar. The height is 23 meters.
Mang Lang is a Roman Catholic church built in 1892 in Gothic style by the French missionary Father Joseph Lacassagne. The church houses a monument to the martyr Andrew of Phu Yen, who was executed in 1644 for refusing to renounce Christianity.
The church beautifully combines Eastern and Western architecture and looks attractive both outside and inside. Stained glass windows, crosses, Christian icons are installed in the church. The most massive objects are the arches along the corridors that adorn the church from all sides.
Ganh Da Dia is a cape in Vietnam, a unique natural monument consisting of 35,000 basalt formations in the form of columns. Its name translates from Vietnamese as "sea cliff of stone plates".
The local basalt columns indeed resemble plates, distinguishing them from similar formations around the world. The cape was formed as a result of a volcano eruption millions of years ago.
The molten lava flows, meeting the ocean water, rapidly cooled and formed clear molecular structures, resulting in the formation of 5-6-sided columns. Dadia is about 250 meters long and 100 meters wide. But this is only the above-ground part of the rare basalt formations; the stone columns are also located underwater.
Bai Mon Beach is a pristine deserted beach on the shore of the South China Sea, located in a secluded bay of Vung Ro, Phuyen province, about 102 kilometers north of the popular tourist center of Nha Trang. It is a 350-meter wide strip of the purest shell-free sand, surrounded by picturesque hills. To the right of the beach, on a hill by the sea, stands a lighthouse.
Cape Varella and the lighthouse are the easternmost point of Vietnam. In the late 19th century, a French captain named Varella discovered and recorded the importance of this land peak on the world maritime map. In 1890, the French people built this lighthouse to guide ships operating in the sea for access to and from Vung Ro Bay. During the war, the lighthouse was destroyed. However, in 1995, the lighthouse was restored and refurbished. It is one of the 8 lighthouses that are over 100 years old out of the 79 lighthouses operating in Vietnam. This lighthouse is closest to international waters. Its light can be seen from a distance of 27 nautical miles. The lighthouse lamp is located 110 meters above sea level.
